About
I am an editor and writer with more than a decade of experience at big-five publishing houses and boutique literary agencies. I love working with authors who are self-made people ready to tell their own story, with professionals who are experts in their fields hoping to share hard-earned wisdom, and anyone who is shaping the cultural conversation. I’ve worked across franchise fiction, self-help, cookbooks, business, and essay collections, but I specialize popular culture, celebrity memoir, and cultural commentary.
After earning my master’s degree in publishing from Pace University, my first publishing job was assisting at a literary agency. Working on the agenting side of the business confirmed something I’ve put into practice ever since: authors’ needs, artistry, and stories must be prioritized at every stage of a project. I moved to the editorial side of the aisle at Penguin Random House, then spent eight years at Simon & Schuster, where I was a Senior Editor. My books were New York Times bestsellers, national and international bestsellers, and recipients of starred reviews from Kirkus Reviews, Booklist, and Publishers Weekly.
